COLUMBUS, Ohio – Nick Vannett, a 6-foot-6, 240-pound tight end out of Westerville Central High School in the Columbus suburbs, said Wednesday that he would attend Ohio State, becoming the 16th oral commitment in the Buckeyes’ 2011 recruiting class.

Solon Comets Football
The 2010 Solon football schedule has been adjusted to allow for a Thursday night appearance on Fox Sports Ohio. The Solon Comets will travel to Mayfield High School on September 30, 2010 and the game will be televised live on FSO throughout Northeast Ohio.

The Oscar Smith Tigers will open their season with a nationally televised game on ESPN for the second consecutive season. The Chesapeake-area program will meet the Pickerington Central Tigers on Sept. 6 at 3:30 p.m. in the Kirk Herbstreit Classic at Ohio State.
