COLUMBUS, Ohio – Coach Urban Meyer has added his 13th commitment to the class of 2013 and it is someone already familiar with Columbus and Buckeye Nation.
New Albany’s Darron Lee committed Tuesday afternoon to Ohio State, just minutes after receiving the official offer.
“Urban Meyer being …there – that played a role,” Lee said.
Lee has progressively moved up Ohio State’s recruiting board after two impressive performances in summer camps.
After being told he was highly regarded two weeks ago, Ohio State came back with an offer Tuesday, making him the first in-state commitment to the class of 2013 since April.
