For the college football fan who enjoys wagering on prognostications, few preseason betting options are more tempting than 2012 win total over/unders. The oddsmakers have broken down the schedule just like the college football “experts,” and this is where they have set the initial lines regarding the outcome of the 2012 season.

Obviously the number is not an exact prediction of wins, but rather a starting point for wagering. For example, no team’s over/under is higher than 10.5. Chances are good the teams competing for the BCS National Championship – and most likely several other top teams – will have more than 10 wins. But how confident are you in those chances?

Below are the Win Total Over/Under’s for 2012, as offered by Bovada.lv. Any takers on Penn State over 5.5 wins? Let us know your thoughts on any and all teams listed in the comment section below or tell us on Twitter (@EyeOnCFB).
